Parking

We have lots of parking on site and around. There will be traffic marshalls to direct you on the day however we recommend that if you are local and are able to walk or catch the bus. (the X49 stops right outside!) Then please help save the planet and local congestion and do so! Onsite parking will be charged at £5.00 per car. Please ensure you park considerately to ensure our neighbours are not disrupted by the festival

Dates and Times

The festival will take place on Saturday 9th July 2016. Gates will open at 12pm and the acts will follow from 2:30pm however there will still be loads to do in the mean time!

We will try our absolute best to keep to the advertised timings however sometimes due to technical issues etc there may be some slight amendments so please bear with us!

When you leave the event please be considerate and keep noise to a minimum for the comfort of our neighbours to ensure the festival can continue in future years.

If you are camping with us please arrive from 12pm where you will be directed to the camping area. The site needs to be vacated including all litter taken by 12pm on Sunday 10th July 2016.

What happens when I arrive ?

All festival goers on arrival will have their bags searched by our security team  on entry.  If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 you will be asked for identification to prove your age and you will then be allocated a coloured wrist band according to your age. From then on bar staff will use this to identify if you are old enough to purchase alcohol. Therefore don’t forget your ID.  If you have no wrist band you will be asked to leave the site.  Those that are super organised  and have pre-booked tickets, there will be a fast track admission area.

Tickets

Ticket prices will increase on the day for those that have left it to the last minute. There is a maximum capacity and we want as many people to enjoy the event however we do have a maximum so we would recommend you don’t leave it to chance on the day as we may not be able to allow you entry.

What is the set up for camping?

If you are camping with us please arrive from 12pm where you will be directed to the camping area. The site needs to be vacated including all litter taken by 12pm on Sunday 10th July 2016. Please note you will need to state the size of your tent at the time of booking and we reserve the right to refuse booking for exceptionally large units. Please note that there are no electric hook up’s available.

Toilets are provided overnight.

No under 18’s are able to camp unless they are supervised by an over 18 year old.

Strictly no open fires or BBQ’s are permitted.

Do we still need to order a ticket for our under 3?

No ticket is required for children under the age of 3.

What can I bring?

No food and drink can be brought into the main festival arena. There will be food and drink on offer from the festival’s traders inside the main arena which is diverse and of the highest quality. There should be something on offer for everyone. If you are camping there will be breakfast available to purchase from the club in the morning.

Each person will be searched when entering the main arena, anyone trying to smuggle food or alcohol/drink into the main arena will have it confiscated. Anyone breaking these rules could lose their wristband and be removed from the festival.

PLEASE NOTE: No glass bottles will be allowed anywhere onsite. Security teams will be searching bags on entry to the campsites/event and any glass bottles will be confiscated. When you leave the event all litter including  plastic cups/glasses must be disposed of using the bins provided before you enter the public highway. We don’t want to pollute the planet !

Strictly no BBQ’s.

Please feel free to bring your own camping chairs and picnic blankets to make yourself comfortable!

If the summer weather is not kind to us you are able to use Umbrellas however they are strictly not permitted in the main arena as we want to ensure all of our guests enjoy the day!

 Drug , Alcohol and Anti Social Behaviour  policy

As Cleve Family Music Festival is a family orientated event, we have a zero tolerance policy on drugs, legal highs, anti social behaviour. We also operate the drink responsible policy. We take the safety of festival goers as our top priority and will do all we can to make sure that everyone has a fun, but safe day!

Anyone caught selling drugs and anyone found using drugs will be removed from the site and passed on to the Police.

Legal highs will not be on sale at the festival. Any trader found selling them will have their stock confiscated or face eviction from the festival site.

Anti social behaviour is not tolerated and participants will be removed from site please don’t let this be you.

Will I be able to re-enter the site if I leave during the day?

If you do leave the site, you will need to see the stewards on the exit gate to ensure you will be able to get back in. All wristbands must be shown at all times.

Dogs

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed onto any part of the site apart from guide dogs for the blind.

Disabled access

We have full disabled access. The festival will take place on a level grassed field with concrete access and there will be disabled toilet facilities provided. Disabled parking will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Challenge 25

We operate the “Challenge 25” policy. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you enter the festival. Wristbands will be allocated according to the identification provided. If you are over 18 and are not able to provide identification when requested you may be allocated a wristband that will only allow you to purchase non alcoholic drinks.

You don’t have to be 18 to attend Cleve Family Festival but you must be 18 or over to purchase and consume alcoholic drinks on our premises.

Do not buy alcohol for a person under the age of 18 if you do you risk being ejected from the festival.

Can I volunteer at the festival

If you are over the age of 18 and would like to help out on the day we would love to hear from you! Please contact enquiries@cleverugby.co.uk

In the event of an emergency:

Qualified first aiders will be available on the day and will be clearly signposted should you need assistance. Ask one of our stewards for help .

There will be an allocated area for lost children with suitably qualified staff , please see one of the stewards on the day and they will help you

Fire Marshalls will direct you to a safe place onto the pitch with the white railings until the emergency services give the all clear , please follow the instructions of the fire evacuation tem  which will be wearing high visibility jackets . For those that have parked on site please do not return to your vehicles unless directed by the emergency services. Your safety is our utmost priority.

Bad Weather

We will  do our utmost for the festival to go ahead however in cases of extreme weather and  if there are any safety concerns we will may have to cancel the event and unfortunately we do not offer any refunds
